Great hotel but low value for money
Location, the beach is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious.
Hotel is great for a 4-start category however when we pay this premium 5 start rates, value for money isn't there. Why? Food was ok-ish, not great. The swimming pool & beach areas run out of towels for 2 consecutive days. Room was cleaned every day but only superficially, look behind the portraits and you will see what I am talking about. I would come back paying a quarter of what I have paid.

What was the highlight of The Mora Zanzibar
Perfect hotel for families...
We have visited the Mora in April as a family. We have found the weather very acceptable. Apart from some rainy hours during our stay of 7 days, all in all the weather was very nice for swimming at the sea and or pool. The very first thing that you need to know about this hotel if you are going to visit with your family that they have a wonderful kids club (outliners club) where you can leave your kids without any worries. The staff at this kids club is utterly nursering and protective. Staff in overall very helpful and responsive. I did not see any staff during our stay that was sulking or responding in an ill manner. Rooms are spacious and the cleaning is more than acceptable considering that Zanzibar is a tropical island. Food is top notch where you can find a food for yourself at all times even if you are eating at the all day dining (horizon) or the beach club (muyuni) or the other 2 restaurants where they serve Asian and South American cuisines. There are many activities outside the premises of the hotel. We have picked a visit to Jozani forest and the prison island of which both were very entertaining. (Just a tip) Lastly, special thanks to Musa whom helped us all through our stay.
Nothing in particular. Just a recommendation to the hotel management, a small seating at the Outliners club would be very helpful to the parents where they can rest while their kids are playing outdoors.

I just love all things about EMERALD, from head to toe... my kids was wooooowww... I hope one day ill come back again
I didn't like 1 thing, my holiday end ... Emerald doesn't have nothing to worry about... You guys are awesome... Congratulations for amazing experience.
